Doug brings strong expertise in managing enterprise administrative groups to Payless ShoeSource. He is responsible for financial oversight to build shareholder value, optimize capital structure, and allocate capital effectively.
 
Doug, who joined the Company in 2007, provides leadership to the Finance, Store Development, and Procurement functions as well as interim reporting responsibility for Law.
 
Before joining the Company, Doug was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Sears Canada, Inc., from 2006 to 2007. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Deluxe Corporate from 2000 to 2006. He held Chief Financial Officer and other leadership roles at Wilsons, The Leather Experts, Inc., from 1990 to 2000.
 
Doug, 54, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
