Janice Kwan’s career has followed the path of the Grasshoppers shoe brand, hopping up, up and up. Just a few years after receiving her M.B.A., she’s Director of Product Management for the Grasshoppers and Women’s Sport collections at Stride Rite. She gives credit to the company for supporting her path.

“In this company, you get exposed to so many aspects of the business,” she says. “Although I understood product development, I had no footwear experience at all when I arrived. But there are so many people here with years and years of experience, and they’re all willing to share what they know.”

“We work as a team here. Coming to work every day is fun. To see a concept go from a 2-D paper drawing to a 3-D product and then see it displayed on a shelf is very satisfying and rewarding.”
